Residential building in Valašské Meziříčí

This Bachelor thesis deals with a design of new building – apartment house. Designed apartment house is located in Zlin region, in the town Valasske Mezirici. Altogether, the designed bulding contains partial basement, eight dwelling units and four storeys. In the ground floor we can find a storage cellar, utility room and cleaning room. The ground floor is made of 3 single sections – office section, section with access to dwelling units with the pram room and section with driving school. These sections are separated from each other and each section has its own entrance. Dwelling units are located on the second floor, third floor and fourth floor. The second floor is made of small flats – there are 3 studios and 1 one-room flat. Larger flats are located on the third and fourth floor where we can find 2 two-bedroom flats and 2 three-bedroom flats. Every dwelling unit has a disposal of the loggie except the flats on the fourth floor – these have a disposal of the terrace located on a flat green roof. Apartment house is built from clay block and overhang part is made of precast frame elements. Building foundations consist of foundation strips. The columns that are erecting the overhang part are placed on foundation pads. The basement wall is built from concrete blocks. Ceiling construction is made of prestressed ceiling panels Spiroll. Staircase is reinforced concrete precast. Roofing is solved by flat green roof. Thermal insulation of the building is solved by external contact insulation system that is internationally labeled and known as ETICS. As a thermal isolator serves the expanded polystyrene.
Environmental solution of a house with a café in Zaječí

In my master's project I design a nearly zero energy consumption house with a café in Zaječí. The 1ST part of this project deals with a structural part of the building, which has two above-ground floors and basement. On the basement are storerooms and rooms for technical equipment, on the ground floor is café and living room with kitchen, and on the second floor are bedrooms, bathrooms and cloakrooms. Footings are from cast-in-place concrete, the load bearing walls on basement are from formwork blocks with cast-in-place concrete, on above-ground floors are from ceramic blocks and every non-load bearing walls are also from ceramic blocks. On whole floor are reinforced concrete floor slab and flat green roof. The 2ND part deals with technical equipment of the building. There are gas boiler, floor heating, air conditioning, mechanical ventilation (HVAC), photovoltaics panels with energy storage, retention tank, external blinds and biodynamic lighting. The 3RD part compares several options for using solar energy in combination with different heat sources in terms of energy and economic efficiency of the building.

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a family house with the establishment in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. The building is designed for housing a family of five and the operation of the car repair workshop. The house has a garage. The living area has two floors and with partial basement. The establishment consists of one above-ground floor. The building is designed from Silka limestone blocks. The external wall of the basement consists of concrete blocks. The ceilings are from the Ytong system. The roofing consists of a gabled roof with a dormer, above the establishment is a flat green roof. The building has ventilated facade and hidden downpipe.
Detached house in Omice

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is processing of the technical part of the project documentation for the new two-storey house, which is located in the village Omice. The object is situated in a steep terrain, which was used for an architectonic conception of the house – the first floor is from northeast part embedded into the ground. Detached house is roofed by a flat green roof. The main living areas are divided into the social area in first floor and the resting area in second floor. A garage with a storage space and terrace accessible from the living room belongs to the object.
Leisure Time Centre Brno

Leisure time center is situated in a part of Brno Nový Liskovec. The land is sloping character, it is bordered by buildings of prefabricated houses. The building is composed of one masses with passage in the middle. Passage replicates the terrain slopes, it has two floors where the first is partially embedded in the ground. The facade is designed as a climbing wall. The bearing structure is reinforced concrete frame in the module 5x6m. The frame is lining concrete monolithic perimeter wall. Infill walls is with blocks of YTONG. As the roofing is flat green roof. Establishment of an object is made of reinforced concrete foundations pass and quiffs.
Low-energy building of boarding house

The aim of the master project is to design a building of an energy-efficient boarding house. It is a three-storey building made of sand-lime masonry with a combination of a saddle roof and a flat green roof. The capacity of the building is 20 visitors. The basement contains a small wellness centre, kitchen storage, general storage, and a utility room. The first floor contains main entrance, a canteen, staff premises, and an accessible guest room. The second floor contains 7 guest rooms and a cleaning room. The third floor contains a meeting room with a kitchenette and toilets, one guest room and entrance to the green roof terrace. Whole building is ventilated by four air conditioning units. The building is heated by floor heating and radiators supplied with a geothermal heat pump and solar thermal panels. Solar thermal panels were analysed.

This thesis describes the design of a apartment building in Holešov. The apartment building has one basement and three above. The building is designed as an object with five apartment units. On first and second floor are situated 2 flats and on third floor is only 1 flat. The construction system is designed as ceramic Porotherm system. Basement masonry is made of the permanent concrete formwork. Roofing is solved by flat green roof. The work includes project documentation for the construction. Part of the project documentation is also a basic assessment of the building in terms of building physics.

The subject of this these the proces of building technical od desingn documentation for the realization of a newly-built detached house with a cafe in Havlíčkův Brod. The building is slightly sloping terrain and is with partial basement. Living area have got two above- ground floor and basement. Whole part is roofing gable roof with roof slope 30° with concrete tiles. In the second part is single-storey building a cafe is roofing flat green roof with slope 3°.The garage is separate with flat green roof. Vertical loadbearing structures above ground are made of Porotherm system, external walls of the basement are made of prefabricated concrete shuttering blocks. Horizontal structures are designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete slab. Part of the external wall finish are made of silicone plaster and part of it consists of ventilated facade with wood cladding.

The aim of this Master´s project is the design of the elementary art school in Slavkov u Brna. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals with architectural and structural design of the building, the second part with design of selected building services, and the third part with a noise study of the building. The building has two floors and a flat green roof. It is operationally divided into two sections with a common entrance - the art school itself and the concert hall. The first section consists of the office, six classrooms, a room for music theory, a choir room, a storage room, and sanitary facilities. The second section includes the concert hall, gallery, foyer, prep room, and sanitary facilities. The technical equipment of the building is located on the second floor. The building has load-bearing ceramic masonry walls, based on plain concrete foundation strips. The floor and roof structures are designed as cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs. The partitions design is ceramic masonry units and acoustic plasterboard walls. The facade design combines greenery and ventilated cladding. The design building services include heating with two heat pumps, ventilation and cooling with two air ventilation systems, rainwater management for toilet flushing, artificial lighting, and photovoltaic power plants for the building services. The noise study covers issues of sound insulation of the building structures, reverberation time in selected rooms, and an urban acoustic study. The result is the correct design of the building in terms of acoustic comfort.

The aim of this diploma thesis is a preparation of part of the project documentation providing information for the construction of a nearly zero energy kindergarten. The building is located in the western part of the city Havlíčkův Brod, in the part of the city called Rozkoš. The building has two above-ground floors and it is partially basement. The kindergarten has two classes for children. These classes are located in one of the one-story wings of the building. The building has a canteen with a food preparation area and serving hatch window. The construction system of the building is designed as a brick masonry bearing wall system. Horizontal load-bearing structure consists of reinforced prestressed hollow ceiling panels. The roofing of the building is solved by a single-layer flat green roof. The building is equipped with a certified contact thermal insulation system.
